Had a little walk around here. Lovely community area. Great to explore. Tennis courts, bowling Green, cafe, castle, toilets, lovely well kept gardens, bandstand. Well worth a little walk around.

What a beautiful ruin right in the middle of Penrith. Penrith is a lovely and old town on the boarder of the Lake District. This ruin in the middle of the town is a treat. Beautiful for photos and there are informative boards on its history dotted around the grounds. Worth a visit!
A well kept asset that Penrith should be proud of and all free! A fab playpark for the children and then the castle ruins are a bonus to play amongst.
Lovely place to relax on a warm day, lovely area, and a lot of things close by, great day out
