I have been here a number of times and have found that it is best to do so in a largish group. The staff have always been very friendly, and are always keen to explain the dishes on offer which cater to both meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The service is usually prompt and certainly is no cause for complaint. While the tapas could do with being cheaper to allow a couple to share it is OK value and always tastes good if not amazing. The atmosphere really is the thing that makes this place special however and I would recommend it to anyone. L
We've been many times and never had bad meal. Jesus grows his own veg for meals and everything fresh. Great atmosphere, great food. Beats LA tasca hands down! Other people obviously have no taste! Best garlic bread ever!
Absolutely fantastic experience. Me and the wife had our wedding reception here. Amazing food and amazing people. We have travelled from liverpool just for the food and hospitality and then drove home again. Overall rating Fantastic
I give one star for the friendly staff, ANYTHING BUT THE SPANISH FOOD. My honest opinion is that this is no where near Spainish food. we ordered pork spare rib and sizzle sweet and spicy chicken. It taste more like takeaway Chinese rib,and Indian chicken . Really disappointed :(
The food has nothing to do with Spain, but it tastes fine and is great value for money. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. This place is all about having fun.

That feeling you get when visiting family at Christmas, unadulterated hospitality backed up with great food. The first time we visited we were staying in ullswater. This time we picked a hotel within walking distance of this restaurant to see if we got the same experience and Costa's did not disappoint. Great food and great service- this from someone who had lunch at L'Enclume on the same day. Can't wait to plan my next trip back to the lakes and another visit to Costa's!
