The bridge itself could do with replacement as it is a traffic nick point with traffic lights and poor visibility across hump back on a major road A6. The village has two pubs neither especially wonderful. However, nearby are two major earthworks one known as King Arthur's Round Table and the other Mayburgh Henge. The latter is quite a big circular earthwork to the west of the village.

We stayed at Bridge End holiday cottages and were well looked after. The bridge is the site of the first signing off an agreement to form England and there are lots of places of historical interest within walking distance
Very small village with a river through it accessible from one side small lane. Very busy exhaust trap running over a light controlled single road bridge. Two pubs one a hotel opposite each other at the end of village. No shops or church, no parking in thro' road unless you want to cause more than the usual delays.
Not alot there 2 pubs not much eles
Not much here but fabulous for walking dogs
