AVOID AVOID AVOID the owner of this shop left us with wedding rings that did not fit .the day before our big day . she told us she would be at the shop at 10am on the Friday the day before our wedding to get our rings sized correctly after 1 failed attempt previously. she left my wife sat outside for 3 hours hysterical and did not turn up. she then phoned me and told me she was ill and wasn't coming then in a nasty tone said what do you want me to do about it. when I told her I was going to the local paper she phoned the police and said I'd been threatening her. they are lying cheating untrustworthy people save your mon

I was charmed by this couple and bought an opal and diamond ring. I asked for a valuation on the monday after the saturday purchase and despite promises from Sue and her assistant that it would be sent no reply to my e mails and many phone calls or a promised valuation has been received. I have paid for a valuation and it is worth much more than I estimated. Shame about the terrible customer service and stories spun by the staff about illness when I have manged to talk to assistants. I would recommend never using this jewellers shop as they are not to be trusted.AVOID!

Having had a weekend in the Lakes we came across this quite unique shop full of modern and vintage jewellery. We were shown some exceptional pieces with their history. Lovely people and the prices were brilliant, a lot cheaper than home

Very poor company stolen a ring from me despite asking for it back on 4 occasions has been 5 months now. Unwordable this company is a con artist a thief and horrible, Fraud fraud fraud guilty guilty guilty Mr Mrs Lister are thieves in the highest regard!!!!!!!

I wish i had read the poor reviews and googled the owners (David Lister) involvement with criminal fraud before leaving a ring with him to sell at an agreed price of 1k, from which, I would recieve 750-800. He advertised it for 1.5k without informing me and failed for over 1year to communicate with me about final sale price. He did not reply to letters, return my calls when he promised. I involved Small claims, police and trading standards to eventually recover money. Money finally exchanged hands 1 year after ring had sold. Please be warned about about this business and steer well clear. I wish I had

Even this one star was pressed my mistake. The experience was quite shocking, I had taking lots of old pieces of Jewellery into this Jewelers and they appeared to be lovely people. They gave me a price which was ok not brilliant. We also wanted rings made with the gold rings we already had to make it more personal, We were told she would weigh the other gold pieces and give me an idea of the price for them and keep the ring separate to make into a ring pattern we choose for our engagement rings. Weeks had going by and I kept going in and ringing and I went in three time and said I would like the money and the price of the gold weight. She denied it all and said I didn't offer that, she also kept saying the guy not back , so we kept ringing the phone was put down, we went in again and asked about the gold we want it all back, but they already scaped all our gold even an engagement ring which cost 600.00 which was supposed to be used to make a much more personal ring, I got most of Jewlery except all the gold they scrapped with out permission and pieces that already been commissioned had gone , well it may not happen to everyone, but no money ever changed hands, until we went in again as we were just getting fobbed off, and waited, to get what was ours, We gave up waiting or listening to more excuses, we just wanted to take the money for the gold scrapped , he wrote for 150. Pounds to put this behind us, having lost near on a 1000, and sentiment, to be given an insult of 150.00. I would never trust a jewellers again as this Jewelers has left me very wary, besides give others a bad name, Shame on you finesse.
