We have used Freedom Wizard twice now since my wife had major surgery on her leg earlier in the year. Allie , Jeanette & John are fabulous from the initial calls to organise the day and out in the Lake District itself. Fantastic idea and if you think you can't get out and about in the wonderful lakes district think again and give Freedom Wizard a call

I met this brilliant team in April on my first trek with friends and family to raise funds towards MS research and to Freedom Wizard . We did 3 Wainwright Walks and it was amazing to be back in this beautiful countryside . Thank you for offering people with disabilities the opportunity to be able to access these areas again it means so much x you're a fab bunch of people and looking forward to seeing you again soon.
I had the pleasure of meeting Allie and Jeanette on a walk last Christmas, two lovely and inspirational ladies. I also met John a few weeks ago on Latrigg while cooking his famous sausages and raising money for this amazing charity. I'm lucky to be fit enough to climb these mountains, which I do most weekends but if you can't, then this charity will certainly help you realise your dreams, well done to all involved
Freedom Wizard have enabled over 120 guests to access the higher fells and rugged terrain in their first year. The best work I have ever had the pleasure to be involved with.
I’ve had two outings with Freedom Wizard and both have been life changing, inspiring and exhilarating. My first outing took me to Lingholm Estate to walk alpacas. The amazing all terrain chairs were able to take me down to Derwent’s water edge and all around the estate, which I would never have been able to do by myself......it was such an emotional afternoon which brought me to tears and I cherish the memories. My second outing was to use the chair and team to take me to the top of Latrigg to view The Festival of Light, which was totally amazing and an evening I was able to share with close friends of mine. This would never have been possible without the use of the chairs and I was then able to climb the last 50 yards with the help of my friends to claim my 1st Wainwright......so, so exciting! The evening was topped off by John cooking sausages and us all enjoying a yummy butty!! Thank you Allie, Jeanette and John. For the incredible experiences and I look forward to conquering plenty more!
