A group of 11, ages 10 - 80, 2 dogs stayed for a week in October 2019. There's more than enough room for absolutely everyone. We loved the big kitchen, being able to easily cook for all of us and all eat round the same table was great. In terms of wheelchair accessibility, it's good but not fabulous. There're two bedrooms on the ground floor but they aren't huge. There is also a shower room in the same wing as the ground floor bedrooms, but it is NOT a roll-in shower, however, those able to walk one or two steps will be fine. There is also one step down from the kitchen to the living room, stairs, front door and patio, but there is a ramp in the cupboard under the stairs if required. The owners are lovely and super laid back. Enjoy their house, look after it and you can't go wrong. Oh and the pub in the village does great food! Hoping to book again in the future!

I was only there to check the gardens for moles but those gardens are spacious and well maintained. The property is located in a quiet, secluded area and is sprawling, with good apparent facilities.
Me an my now fiancee's family have just returned from staying here over the weekend and would just like to say this place is amazing. Very clean an tidy, all the decor was up to date and well done. We had everything we needed. After telling the owners i was proposing to my girlfriend while staying there they couldnt help enough. They gave me suggestions around the Lakes to nice view points an activities and something we wasnt expecting was them calling round with a bottle of bubbly and a card to say congratulations. We have made this our place to stay next time we visot the Lakes. So thank you Dinah and Kit for making our stay that much more special you guys were amazing.
