Opt4 Community Energy is a non-profit organisation based in Penrith, which was set up in 2013 to reduce fuel poverty in Cumbria, by helping residents to cut their energy costs and usage. Through switching clients' energy suppliers we collect a commission from the energy companies. This commission, once we have covered overheads, will be reinvested in the Cumbrian community in the form of energy advice, free draught proofing products, and investment in local renewable energy schemes.
