Friendly, attentive staff - our server was a young French man and he was lovely! Food came out very quickly, covid guidelines were followed carefully. Everything good! Great location and nice dining area; we'll visit again. We had sandwiches and a ploughman's; the lunch menu was pretty big, lots of options.

Loved it, great service, delicious food and a good price! Can't recommend highly enough! We also got married here - same good service we got when we turned up on our jeans and walking boots!

Excellent food and service great price stunning location. No 1 recommendation for the area aside from my camping stove haha but I'm a trained chef. Great waiters and service. Lovely hot toddy. I had the fish and chips after a swim in Conistone Water. I prefer mushroom soup but the sweet potatoes was lovely. Maybe some paprika would have helped. Overall very happy

This was a joke of a restaurant from service to horible food. Absolutely horrible. Please don't try it. I am sorry I don't have pictures to show how bad was. The Lamb burger came without any kind of sauces and with a tiny tiny piece of lettuce and... Well.. Nothing else. The beef sandwich... Horrendous! Totally tasteless and really bad texture. Maybe we chose the worst dishes in the restaurant, but really.... We tried 2 dishes and were worst than a really cheap fast food. And this experience costs about 15/main dish

First visit to this place on our first Lake District holiday. The restaurant looks so high end but you find that dogs are allowed, you can walk in boots or wellies,... The food is so delicious and price is set just right. When you see the serving style you would expect price much higher then what you pay here. Highly recommended place to everyone.
