We had such an incredible stay at Riverain Coach House. The Coach House is a beautiful place to stay with three good sized bedrooms, all en suite. The communication ahead of our stay was fantastic and the extra cleaning and safety measures put in place due to the corona pandemic made us feel completely safe. The welcome hamper was a lovely extra touch and the house was well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The price was extremely reasonable for such luxury accommodation and we would certainly recommend and stay here again. Thank you Christine, Jilly & team.

What a wonderful place to stay. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you book a stay at Riverain. The owners have thought of everything to make your holiday enjoyable in their delightful and comfortable coach house. It's a great location too, just on the edge of the Lakes (so not really busy) but easy access to Ullswater, Derwent and Buttermere, Lowther Castle, etc. Lovely local walks too and the Boot and Shoe Inn (great pub) is also within walking distance.

I booked Riverain, originally in June, to take my elderly Mum somewhere a little special for a break. In the event Covid intervened and her holiday was delayed until 1st week in October so sadly the weather was not conducive to al fresco dining in the lovely garden! Despite all this both she and we enjoyed our stay very much, especially the huge log fires and comfy beds! I would certainly recommend to others this very comfortable, well equipped and luxurious "home" in beautiful surroundings.

The communication with Christine on the run up to our stay was brilliant, very quick to respond and informative. The house, surrounding properties and gardens were all immaculately kept and were very impressive on arrival (and we loved the NHS mowed into the lawn). Inside didn’t disappoint either. Immaculately clean and it really did have everything that you could think of, from BBQ coal, firelighters, kebab sticks to tea lights, candles and plenty of dish cloths etc. The hamper is a wonderful welcome gift along with the personalised letter. It really is a 5 star stay. We absolutely loved the area and really hope to return to Riverain or we may even try another property in the Rowley collection! Thank you
