Roundthorn Hotel was fantastic.!! We had a superb 5 course meal there, and enjoyed everything we had. I especially enjoyed my sweet....... Sticky Toffee Pud.... delicious!! We stayed in one of the cottages by the Hotel and really enjoyed our stay there.!!

Very clean place, staff very polite and helpful. Took my 6 months old son and wife and the arrangements were spot. Stay safe guys and keep up the good work 5/5
Nice place for a few nights considering it was last min and 20 mins away from the lakes. Not sure it was because of Covid19 but the negative was that our room didn't get cleaned for 4 days! Lucky we are tidy people but when asked for fresh towels there was no issues getting them pretty quickly
Fab hotel, great service, attentive, friendly and I highly recommend staying. The scones are probably the nicest we’ve had in years and can’t wait to try the Sunday lunch later. Graham & James are a great father & son combo I’ve meet in years, as are other staff, every need catered for, clean, professional and safe. The tips they gave us for places to visit were very welcome and Eden taxis had good virus protections too.
The Hotel due to covid restrictions are unable to hold their annual Xmas parties. However they are offering a limited number of celebration nights and lunches and cream teas restricting the numbers. The menu is a variation of Xmas fayre and traditional meals. The food and service was excellent representing the outstanding reputation this hotel holds locally. Guest rooms and apartments are available for overnight and long stays. Covid secure and full table service operating with a meet and greet on entry. Highly recommended
The staff were very safe (great distance, screens, masks and gloves), friendly and professional. The food was exceptional and the location amazing. The pricing in the restaurant was fair and lower than I imagined...and that was before the 'Eat Out to Help Out' discount was applied! I'll certainly be back soon for the food regardless of the discount scheme. If I didn't live locally, I'd be checking out the rooms too. Keep up the great work folks.
Had a great time meeting the team this morning at the roundthorn. Such a stunning location. Rooms to match the view and of course a the staff are so friendly. Not my first time at the Roundthorn. Wont be my last. Thank you.
