Just superb if you ever come through Shap you must pop in and see the restoration they have been doing and take some beautiful pictures

Mars Denique Victor Est

Kept open for visitors and worth the detour. Its older than its more famous ruined neighbour and is pleasantly appointed. It's still an active place of worship. Parking is not good but it does not lay far from the main road. Toilets inside.
