We ate here whilst staying at the center. The menu is quite limited in choice. Tje Restaurant is nicely presented and has a lovely view out onto the lake if sat in the right place. The staff were friendly and even brought water for our dog. The food was hit and miss.... We enjoyed our starters of mushrooms/soup but prawn cocktails were disappointing. We all ordered steak for main as there isn't much choice on the menu... And again hit n and miss... It was all over cooked with rare, medium and medium well being ordered, 3 people from our party seem to get a different cut of steak that was thick but extremely fatty and the othersgetting a thinner rectangular shape steak that had no fat, these 3 enjoyed their steak most Evan tho over cooked but the price point of 15.95 was a fair value. The drinks were on the pricer side which I'm used to paying in the city centre... 5.80 for a pint and 22 bottle of wine. Maybe would revisit for lunch but not an evening meal.

Wonderful carvery, roast beef, with all the trimmings. Quite atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. Clean toilet.

Dined at the lakeside last night. Usually a family favourite. Was disappointed that the carvery was not in offer. The main menus was disappointing. The quality of food we ordered was very poor. The staff were as usual very friendly and the new social distance measures that have been put in place made us feel safe.
