Amazing place, fantastic staff/instructors, the activities are brilliant, children develop so many skills whilst here such as resilience, confidence and independence, cannot rate this place highly enough.
Its was very good. Maybe some more plugs and dont go on the expedition
I had to pick my son up midweek due to issues with the activities and supervision. His bag of clothes was soaking and smelled of animal urine.
Went here this last week and it was ok , food portions were minimal , beds were ok , staff were amazing , facilities were small at the other hand but activities were very enjoyable. Owtward bound will never make you do something that you don't want to do , however they will try to stretch your comfort zones to a confident level, after all you only live once , so give it a go even if you are abit scared . My instructor was jj and he led me from the start till end with amazing quality. So give Howtown centre a try and give things ago that you would never do at home !
