This is one of the loveliest places I ever been to. Packed with good books, I found some classics, even Russian, my daughter bought art books, the food is excellent, the best value for money you can get. I will surely go back when in Penrith. And the people- super. I have no pictures of the place, except my meal.

A lovely surprise, and often popular by those who know, an up-cycled decor that is warm, welcoming and will give you lots to look at and talk about. The staff are friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there, they have a large daily board to keep things changing, and the usual combinations put to you in food and drinks makes it an adventure to visit time and again.
Eaten here many many times and never been disappointed. Simply love the place.
Are you vegan? Gluten Free? Diary Free? Or just fed up with motorway junk food. Well, this is the perfect alternative cafe. A place where you can relax, eat delicious cake, drink a strong coffee and chat to some locals before heading back on the M6!
Had a delicious chai latte and brownie. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots of choice of drinks and cake. Would definitely recommend!
