Costco or Sam's is much better. Terrible customer service! Prices are high for a wholesale store. There is a Sam's Club in town that is much better and a Costco 30 minutes west on the interstate.
I LOVE BJ’s! They are better than Sam’s Club, awesome selection of products. They also offer coupons all the time on a variety of products and there’s even select products that will knock 10 off your gas price per gallon, “High Octane Items”. These products also change on a regular basis to keep you on your toes. Deli is great, produce selection is always fresh and there are organic options. There’s no downside! BJ’s is definitely the place for the your wholesale needs!
I will not be renewing our membership. I had planned to and then they had to be like sheep and follow the leader. They no longer will carry My Pillow simply because they disagree with the guy. Nevermind that your members may want to buy the products. I just ordered two of them myself. One day, maybe these businesses will realize the best thing to do is stay out of the political BS and just run a business. Bye bye BJs. You weren't that great to begin with and Sam's is right around the corner.
Wow...opening day was crazy. Packed...couldn't navigate the isles. They ran out of carts. Checkout was super slow. None of the conveyor belts at the registers worked...slowing down the cashiers. All the mailed membership gift cards weren't activated and required supervisor overrides. Now for the good:things about Pensacola's: BJs selection was pretty good. Many items different than Sam's Club. Produce, bakery, and meat departments seem better than Sam's...example the beef short ribs had better marbling, but less fat than Sam's. The food court had very limited menu, but the hot dog, while smaller than Costcos, was much tastier. Employees were extremely friendly.. kudos to the employees...today must be so stressful for them. I'm not a fan of the whole coupon thing.. I prefer the Costco/Sam's method of just lowering the price. ---------------------------- Update: Reduce review by 1 star. Went back on a Tuesday, hoping for better experience when store shouldn't be so busy. Prices are comparable/slight higher than Sams. I like the different selection of foods and quality of meat department. Checkout is still a mess. With only 1 person ahead of me with 10 items, it took me 17 mins to get check out. Standing in line to check out...made me consider if the extra 30 mins to drive to mobile Costco might still be worth it.
Very nice! My husband and I walked in as new members an Alan greeted us right away an thanked us for coming in, makes you feel very welcomed. We've have been without power since Tuesday will still had no power so we decided to get a pretzel walked over an Bri helped us,she was very friendly an helpful.Then we approached where they had a large cooler an Wisteria approached us an was telling us the benefit of this cooler again extremely nice friendly an helpful! But it was to big for us to carry around as we shopped so Wisteria walked us to Savedra which put the cooler on hold for us again we were very impressed with her as she was also so helpful.Then we finished shopping at this time it was packed! An we went to start ringing up an the register was not cooperating,so Andy walked over an began to help us even though it was so very busy. I would like to thank each an everyone of you, Because you truly know what customer service is all about!
I'm writing this review because I went to BJ'S today around 11:30 and had the best customer experience with Deedi. She was not only very professional but also went out of her way to give me excellent customer service. So helpful and very nice! I signed up for a BJ'S card, and she was more than helpful!
