Met a friend last Friday for a coffee ended up staying and having a Cornish breakfast. It was served promptly and was really tasty! Staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed a bit longer than intended and felt no pressure to move on in anyway. I would recommend and very likely to return again

Excellent food, superb taste combinations and perfectly fried fish. The service was also very good. The restaurant it self feels a bit lacking in terms of atmosphere, feels more like a hotel lobby than a restaurant with great food. But the food is worth it, and the prices are reasonable as well. 22 for a two course meal. Definitely recommend!

The inside looks cozy and beautiful. This restaurant also has outside seat to drink and eat. I had steak burger and this was very delicious. I like the chili source in the burger. This restaurant also has nice, clean toilet.

It's quiet ( at four o'clock in the afternoon anyway) and the Danish pastry was probably the best I've had in a long while. I like the decor too. I haven't ever had an evening meal there but the menu looks good.

All the staff were superb. Our 5 meals were beautifully cooked and served. The menu had something for everyone. There was a relaxed atmosphere. We had a great evening. Thank you all at the Alverne restaurant.
