Needed some bridesmaids dresses taken in and was given this service by another seamstress as she was extremely busy and couldn't take on any more jobs. Met Ding Dong sewing and got measured. The lady stated the dresses (there was 2) would be ready in 2 weeks. Two weeks later and we had heard nothing. Contact Ding Dong sewing - she was busy and had not started the dresses! We had stated our timescales when handing over the dresses and had stated it was 4 weeks to the wedding. We agreed another appointment - the dresses were not ready and Ding Dong Sewing stated that there was more work than she had initially thought and put up the price. It's now 10 days to the wedding - the dresses are in her hands and not finished and the price has almost doubled - feels like we are being blackmailed. Need the dresses finished and don't have a lot of time. We agree to the new price and arrange to pick-up 2 days before wedding. Getting worried now. Go collect the dresses and they are still not finished - we sit for just over an hour whilst she completes them. This is ridiculous, but we have the dresses. However - it doesn't end there. My daughters dress pops open before we even make it to the church. Really poor job. The service and job was appalling. Avoid Ding Dong sewing they were more than rubbish.

Surounded by wonderful Cornish moor land view, with Penzance bay and St Michael Mount in the distance. Minack theatre and sennen cove within 10 miles. the Dingdong loft we are staying offers ammmazing picture windows! watch the striking sunset behind the engine house. the wildish garden with small leafed bush mix with nature brilliantly! the deep night sky covered with millions of stars and the Moon are extraordinary bright! this is a great place to escape for peacefulness, yet there is plenty to explore. been here several times and each time fall in love more, whether it's rain, shin or mist…
