I came here to fill up my gas tank after driving in from California. It was about a block East from the 101 freeway, on the Northwest corner of Thunderbird Rd and 79th Ave. The gas station was well lit and the pump that I used was clean and in good working order. Having to pay those high prices for gas in CA, it was quite nice to see prices that were much more reasonable in AZ. It was also nice to be able to pay with touchless tap payment such as Google Pay during this Covid pandemic.

love the staff at the gas station!! Meh on the car wash staff. HATE the insanely slow pumps. First it displays my zip code large and prominent so that even someone not nearby can see it, and since the pumps are loading ads it displays for quite some time. Finally get to pump but wasted many minutes waiting and then get blaring ads that anger me so that I will NOT buy the product pitched. I hate to find a new gas station after 14 years..

It's all 1 place, but there are 2 parts, so just to avoid confusion; \Chevron\ refers to the gas pumps outside, and the inside store is \Francis & Son's Food Mart\. Both the inside and outside are kept very clean - even the restrooms. The employees are friendly. They have new, free, self-service car vacuums for use during the day (I have never used them, and I forget the hours they are available.) It is both convenient and safe. The store & gas are open 24/7 and it is well lit. This location also the least expensive for gasoline compared to the other Chevrons in the area. The downside is the name \Francis & Sons Food Mart\ is misleading. I don't know what defines a \Food Mart\, but to me, I imagine a small scale grocery store. They are comparable to any other gas station. Quick Trip has more \food\ choices than here. You can use your Safeway grocery store rewards to get a discount on gas here. EDIT: I have used the vacuums and they are more powerful than any vacuum I have ever used. They will suck up car keys, papers, and just about ANYTHING, so make sure to clear valuables from it's path! They also have a compressed air gun beside the vacuum.
