I have played hockey in central Illinois for 18 years and Owens has been my closest stop the whole time. It’s an older building with slightly soft ice but it’s a serviceable hockey rink fit to play on. I can’t speak for or against the current youth programs but the adult programs have been wonderful. Rat hockey is great when you want to play before work with a bunch of folks who only care about the fun of the game. League play is great if you’re looking for competitive hockey. Overall, I’m glad to see a nice hometown rink still going strong.

Great service! We got there with only 45 min left to skate, so they allowed us to go ahead and took some money off! Nice rink as well
