They are one of the only storage units that will ship anywhere no need to in pack to move to another location. We are going to store our household items for 1 to 2 years while we travem. We will then buy a house and have the POD sent to us

UPDATE 8/28 I just spoke a representative named Leo. He was able to get me on the schedule and back to our original 8/30 date. Our red calendar date request never did go through. The issue was ultimately resolved by me taking this into my own hands to continue calling and checking the availability. I hope the PODS team can take this as a learning lesson, and drive back a review of how the online reservation system operates as there is surely an opportunity for improving the business. I'm glad to be back on schedule, but I can't say I'm likely to do business with PODS again in the near future. I sincerely hope my feedback helps drive change that will prevent the next family from going through my experience. UPDATE 8/26: I'd like to mention that Gene was the fourth representative that we talked to after this scheduling issue was discovered. Gene was able to, on his own accord, identify an opening on the 8/31 schedule to move up our date. We're still disappointed that this was not mentioned in any prior conversations with PODS representatives. As we still do not have back our originally scheduled 8/30 date, I've been calling the customer support number multiple times a day to look for an opening on 8/30. This has now become a huge burden to call regularly to recover a pickup/move date which we scheduled and confirmed a month ago. My wife and family are stressed now wondering if our belongings will make it with us on move day. ORIGNAL POST Scheduled all my dates for drop off and move a month in advance. A week before our move date I randomly check in on our account online, and the move date is cancelled. Now they tell me they can't pick up the pod until after our move date???? What is going on over there this is absolute ridiculousness. Who does business in such way. Terrible experience.
