Recently purchased a Damascus steel hunting knife from these guys. Great communication throughout and the knife is superb in terms of quality of finish (weighs in at 400 grams!) and the sharpness of the blade when it arrived was genuinely ‘shaving’ sharp! I collect blades and will be using the guys again

Good service, kept in touch, delivered quicker than the stated four to five weeks stated for a back order. Knives are good quality, all fully tang and appear to be made to last, although have not used yet.

Don’t buy from Perkins if you value your time and money. Once you’ve paid, you don’t hear from them and they seem to forget about you. I purchased a camping knife from perkins in mid December. They contacted me of providing an ID for legal purposes and that was submitted, but didn’t hear back from them. After waiting more than 2 weeks I called to check when can I expect the delivery and the chap on the phone apologised and said that they were on holidays and I will receive my order the following week. After waiting for more 2 weeks and no sign of delivery I called again and the chap on the phone apologised again and said that normal wait for orders is 4-5 weeks ( it was nowhere stated when I placed my order) and he said that this time definitely I will get my order next week. Well I didn’t and after 2 more weeks and already beginning of February (I placed my order in mid December!) I called them for the 3rd time and requested a refund. Guy again apologised and said that he was the one who spoke with me last time and that the knife is there but they can refund me and also can send me the knife and if I like it then I can pay for it again. I agreed on this but mainly to get my refund as by now I was fearing that I won’t even get my money back. Luckily I did, but the knife still never arrived. Why so unprofessional and why let your customer wait for weeks and months without an update? I feel like not only wasted more than month with them but also like a fool for trusting them.
I love hunting and it goes without saying that i have a thing for good knives. Perkin knives is my favourite when it comes to hunting knives fixed blade.
