Lovely shop. We come here on holiday every year and always end up buying all sorts because there are so many beautiful things. Today we bought a couple of height measuring boards for our kids’ rooms and the owner insisted on charging us less than the asking price because one of them was very very slightly damaged- very honest. Completely agree with their masks policy too and such a shame that people feel it’s ok to be so rude to them - it’s their shop, their rules!

After visiting Cornwall for many years I visited this shop during this years holiday and will never go in there again. I too, like one of the comments on here, was turned away from the till as I wasnt wearing a face mask as I am exept and I was wearing a lanyard. My daughter found a scrappy handwritten piece of paper (which you can hardly see)on the wall telling customers that the staff have put up with abuse over the weeks. I would like to point out to the owners that it is not law to wear one and they should not 'tar' everyone with the same brush. I feel that are discriminating against people who have an underlying health issue. I also found that the staff were extremely rude in their attitude. I have also reported this shop attitude to the local council.

As I like supporting local businesses in Perranporth, me and my daughters popped in the purchase a gift for a family member. My 13 daughter is autistic and except from wearing face coverings as it causes a great deal of panic and distress. She was approached in the shop and told to wear a face covering, highly embarrassed, she explained that she had a medical exception. The lady said they didn’t accept exceptions!!! My poor daughter was nearly in tears! Absolutely shocking that this store is refusing to accept customers who are highly vulnerable! A complete disgrace....

I have been coming to Perranporth and this shop for over 21 years. It is one of my favourite shops in Cornwall and I always end up buying someone from there. Today I nipped in to have a look and see what goodies I could find. However, after being in the shop for over 10 minutes the lady asked us to leave due to me not being able to wear a mask. I was wearing a Daisy lanyard and explained I am medically exempt, nevertheless, she was not interested and told me to leave her shop. I was left feeling utterly devastated that I was not being allowed to look around one of my favourite shops in Cornwall. In addition I left due to my condition I was being discriminated against this is the last day of our holiday and I feel totally let down. For anyone who has a disability or who is exempt from wearing a face covering I would advice that you avoid this shop.
