Well where do I start......Initially i found the car i had been looking for (BMW 520 GT) at a fair price, sales and customer service were acceptable and standard for an independent garage. Less than a year and 2,000 miles later the car developed a fault, I noticed/heard a fault in the front wheels which turned out to be a significant issue with suspension arms x2. This obviously had to addressed but to my unbelief at my own cost! There alleged 5 star warranty that came with the car and with a guarantee from the salesman any issue from a spring to something more serious would be covered and dealt with promptly unfortunately this is not the case and not worth the paper it’s written on, advised from the garage to contact the warranty people who then told me to take it to local garage to find out what was wrong I did this and low and behold WEAR and TEAR warranty won’t cover, either will Alan Storrar cars no way it was due to wear and tear so just a word of warning when purchasing from said garage be aware they are providing false and misleading information regarding warranty which is meant to protect the purchase, do not normally do reviews unless positive but this is unbelievable and others should be warned!

Bought my Fiesta ST-2 from Alan Storrar Cars a fortnight ago and received great customer service from Jamie. Car was pulled out and ready for inspection after the phone call to view it. It was presented immaculately inside & out. We went to a popular garage franchise in Motherwell beforehand and after poor customer service, we walked away and decided to stop in Perth on the way back home to see the car. Best decision we made, chalk & cheese service between the two garages. With Alan Storrar having a different approach to sales and customer service I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. They even valeted the car before delivering it up to Inverness (sent a photo before the A9 trip, which was a nice touch). Half a tank of petrol was left. A years warranty and a MOT thrown in too. Great communication via email in regards to taxing it etc. All in all 5 stars all round, thanks!
