Couldn't recommend a better place to go to sit your HGV or any other test needed. All the staff are extremely polite, helpful and professional. 10/10 for Alex Mcara HGV Training.

My category C course was a great experience. Alex was very helpful when booking and Stuart my instructor was great. I believe I was taught well in all aspects and would highly recommend.

Excellent training passed my Class 1 without issue, i was put at ease straight away, very knowledgeable instructor with lots of experience driving in the UK and abroad, i thought the pace of the course was just right, clear instructions were giving throughout and i genuinely had a great laugh whilst on the course would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade there licence ! Cheers Eddie

Great training school and very knowledgeable and friendly instructors. Got me through my CPC, Class 2 and Class 1 first time with 0 minors. They have a great fleet of training vehicles that have to be the best in Scotland if not the UK. I went from having no experience in a lorry to having my class 1 within 2 months. Alex the owner is very knowledgeable and happy to help with any questions. Eddie my instructor was hard but fair as he has vast knowledge of the industry and got me through every test first timeWould gladly recommend them to anyone looking to do their HGV licence. Great experience.

When first speaking to Alex on the phone he was very helpful and seemed like he wanted to help. It didn't take long to uncover the truth about this driving school. Unprofessional trainers who like to bully those who ask questions or need some help- and if you bring this to Alex's attention explaining you want to make sure that it will be him doing the training-instead of wanting to help and reassure that you will get a professional service you've paid 995 for you will infact get a ignored and told to look elsewhere, he has your money why would he care now to give a good service. I've spoken to Alex on many occasions-and he can certainly talk the talk and seem very professional- until hes got your money. Keep this in mind if your looking for hgv trainers- and dont be shocked if the trainer takes a disliking to you and makes your life a misery for needing a bit of help- waste of time and alot of money for a extremely shocking service. If your wanting cowboys- this is the place for you
