The first employee working there was super nice and informative explaining how it was family owned and meats were organic. Another younger employee that came in a minute later with a chip on her shoulder and rudely interrupted us and gave attitude which is unfortunates because I put my 'to be purchases' down and left. The owners need to retrain the second employee or place her in a non-customer facing position. I gave 2 stars as the initial employee was very hospitable and informative. *Update November 16th 2020* I went in with my mother and sister, not my wife, I don't know Daniella. The worst part was when my mother, an elderly lady, asked if something was organic. The same employee said \Read!!\ There was an older employee there if you're in doubt and need a witness. The sign said maximum 3 people nothing about 1 per family and even so, this employee scolded us, no polite request to leave. The people who went in after us were also shooed away quickly as we seen them leave shocked after us. Not sure if \1 per family\ was added afterwards but we checked on our way out and it wasn't there. We also live separately and needed to buy different things, hence why I put the berries and veggies I was about the buy, back down after she told my mother to \Read!!\ The older employee, I have to add actually cared about your business and your customers, she had enticed me to buy before the other lady scorned us. Maybe this employee could retrain the rude employee?
I love buying local especially with the recent pandemic, but there is one employee there who was down right nasty last week. Needless to say I left without making a purchase. I love supporting family business so it's unfortunate I couldnt bring myself to buy anything due to the that lady employed there.
Friendly staff and owners. Great local products and fantastic baked good too!
ALA “Diane’s”, always super friendly and well stocked with seasonal foods and foodie gifts. Definitely stop on your way to or from Perth.
