Absolutely fantastic place to stop. Food is always excellent, friendly welcoming staff, and extremely reasonably priced. Always love looking at the decor as well, a proper rustic \how life used to be\ place. Always a treat.
I had breakfast here. It was a typical fry up and I don't actually mind that but it could have been better presented. The service was good but my cup of tea was awful. Small, weak and 10 times too much milk. Sorry guys - cups of tea are an art form.
Great to see the Horseshoe back open after Covid restrictions; the legendary steak pie never disappoints!
