I commissioned Jamie for the projects of manufacturing a glassware/drinks cabinet and also a coffee table from two beat up old whisky barrels. We discussed the parameters of the finished products to combine the traditional rustic appearance of each barrel with functionality. My awareness of Jamie’s creative flair and his broad technical knowledge gave me confidence to let him get on with the job. The result is nothing short of excellent. Both pieces of work are exactly what I was looking for and in many aspects exceeded my expectations. I am particularly impressed with the ‘hidden’ level of technical detail – The operation of both products is smooth and effortless. Jamie ensured the highest level of long term functionality in the cabinet and table, whilst enhancing the richness and warmth in the traditional rustic appearance of the barrels.
