The reason we chose Savills was for their reputation, professionalism and reach, but specifically our confidence in Stephanie Clarke, based on our previous experience, being absolutely the right person to lead the team to achieve the optimum result for us. Her calm, professional, good-humoured approach epitomises the Savills ethos. Despite our sale being at the busiest time ever known, and during a pandemic, the Savills team were right there for us at every critical juncture to guide us through, in what turned out to be an effortless sale. We put our self built family home on the market in February 2020 (just before the pandemic hit uk) it had been on for only a few weeks and we were getting ready to go to a closing date but due to lockdown this was put on hold. However we were back on the Market at the end of July and we sold within a week to a lovely family. Stephanie was our agent and she is amazing at her job, she also loved our house and really understood us as people and what we were all about. She offered excellent advice and supported us right through lockdown, her colleague Elle whom we never met (but spoke to every week) was also fantastic at her job.
