This is a nice flat hiking trail....well marked and nice signs along the trail for points of interest and wildlife...a mixture of conifer plantations..natural deciduous forest...the river and marsh...plenty of birdlife...

A 6 fee is requested for a decent/mediocre trail with a few signs marking where snakes hibernate (so no sightings there, obviously) or where dragonflies might be spotted (better luck just spotting them randomly). The view of the marsh is minimal. A much better marsh experience would be the Mer Bleue trail in Ottawa (which is free to visit)
