This is a hidden gem! Take time to explore the wonderful looping trail. Please pay the 7.00 to park so that it remains funded and viable over time.

Easy loop walk, appropriate for young children. Nice panels along the trail explaining the flora and fauna in the reserve, and the history of the area. Several picnic tables near the parking lot in a grassy area. Also one picnic table half way around the trail near the observation tower. Bring bug spray in late spring, early summer...huge mosquitoes!

Good trail, easy hike. No dogs allowed though which is really silly.

It gets really muddy after a rain so be prepared for that but otherwise a great small trail.

Nice well maintained trails. Worth the day parking pass (7), or the annual (50) if you live nearby.. Spent a few hours here walking with the kids. The signs drawing attention to the various wildlife as you walk through were informative and well placed. -Also No Dogs allowed
