I've been a customer for 10 years for both my pets and the experience I've had with PIA has been extremely positive, hence why I haven't even thought of changing my insurance provider. They have also streamlined the process for claims processing making it a breeze to get my refund. Now, my oldest dog has been diagnosed with cancers and PIA has been great in the whole process. Not only have they managed the whole claim without any issues, they have also followed up with a concern for my pets well being. The personal touch makes the whole experience much more pleasant.

Easy to deal with them, great customer service, online easiness, and immediate response on claims, competitive premiums and many more. Highly recommend PIA to pet owners who really care for their pets.

We took out insurance with Pet Insurance Australia when Dash was an 8-week puppy. Recently Dash ingested rat poison that we didn’t know about and 6 days later he was struggling to breathe, and we almost lost him. Fortunately, we could do an intensive treatment and save his life. As with any such treatment the cost was substantial, and we were not sure how long the insurance claim would take and documentation the insurance company would need. Once the treatment was completed and Dash was feeling much better, I lodged a claim via Pet Insurance Australia portal. In all honesty, I was expecting the claim to take weeks however it took five days from me lodging the claim and having the funds in my account. It was such a relief not to have to worry about the claim on top of all the stress we already had since Dash ingested the rat poison.

They have been very supportive and understanding during the time of COVID-19 and have helped me retain my policy in a time of need. This has given me peace of mind that my doggies are covered and I have not had to loose my policy. They are always friendly and professional whenever I call and are lovely to deal with :)

Prompt and efficient claims service. Our vet lodges the claim direct with PIA, I receive confirmation from PIA that it's been lodged and usually within 5 days the claim is processed, the refund in our bank account and details of how the claim refund calculated sent by email. Cannot thank PIA enough for this wonderful service and I recommend to everyone I can how good PIA is to deal with.

The worst pet insurance ever! If i could give 0 stars, i would! They get you with 2 months free but actually charged me twice in one month without my knowledge or permission! There was a 30 day cooling period which meant the first free month was useless. On top of this, i have now spent 2 weeks trying to get my money back and cancel the policy. DO NOT GO WITH PIA!

10000% recommend PIA. Our little girl got Tetanus and needed emergency ICU care for over two weeks. The claim was almost 20k and we got our claim back within the 10day frame with no issues whatsoever. They made this extremely stressful time so much easier.
