I was here for lunch with a bowl of porridge as I would like to stay awake for the afternoon, meeting a friend nearby. Section 17 was a familiar place 30 over years ago during my years in University. Now is an opportunity to rediscover this place. More cars, and more new shops. I was fortunate to park just in front of the restaurant, where I had a brief reminiscence of the past.

Have been a loyal patron to this place over the span of 10 years. Don't go in with expectations of dining at a Michelin star restaurant, you will surely be disappointed. This place is great for an excellent and affordable meal. No frills, just good food at great prices. The 小炒 is the main attraction. You simply can't go wrong!

Uni & young crowd mostly.... Chap Fun or Economy Rice is served here. Value for money servings. There's a couple of stalls that serves good value hawker fare... Recommended.

Simple coffee shop. Not many stalls or choices. Prices are cheap as they cater to mostly University Malaya students who live around section 17

Came for dinner. Not bad. The rice quality is not good though, will be going with the noodles again when I come back. Parking is always a problem here, you gotta be patient, circle a few times and be ready to walk (at least the driver). We came after the regular early dinner crowd and we didn't have to wait too long for the food. Portion size is good, and there was a good amount of meat or vegetables in it. Taste is acceptable. Will try the place across the road, the next time I visit this area.

Not your typical pork noodles. Subtle yet satisfying. Uncle offer many type of noodles, but the best texture and experience is with Maggi noodles. Remember add an egg.
