Reluctant Homemaker

Great selection and variety for a small town grocery store. I'm always pleasantly surprised at the things that I don't expect them to carry (being a small rural store) but end up finding. Service is always good here. Cashiers always greet me and make pleasant chit chat.

I could say that i loved my experience at \your independant\ grocery store but i felt frankly offended when i saw this sign. -\There's nothing wrong with this picture.\ I hear u say but haven't you see on the sign it's written \cantaloupe\ when the correct spelling is cantaloup! U just lost a customer!!!

Clean, excellent grocery store. Sometimes the lines are long, but it's the best store in the area. Well lit, good selection, PC Optimum, awesome deli, good selection of meat and seafood. They've done a lot of remodeling recently and made their aisles wider, which is nice during COVID-19. They've also added in 6 self-checkouts, which are the nicest I've used in Canada. Still prefer a real person, but they're not bad when you're in a hurry. The only thing I could complain about is sometimes they don't have the items advertised in the flyer as being on sale, especially when it comes to meats and cheeses.

Disappointing store. Staff isn't too friendly, one woman has very thick black eyeliner which is unpleasant to look at it and doesn't even say hello. There is no cheese deli that I can buy freshly sliced cheese by weight. I asked butcher if they sell duck and they don't. Many bags of flour have holes in them. And the organization in frozen and fridge aisles are a mess. There is no good selection of international products, better selection at Walmart shockingly. Its upsetting to see such a badly stocked store with low quality products. Also I have overheard two employees stocking shelves talking about how they're not sure where something is supposed to go, and the one guy said to ask their superior and he didn't want to because he said that he isn't friendly. I feel bad for the employees feeling this way. Better off going to metro or no frills than this mess. Always sold out of popular items too.
