DO NOT go here if you enjoy frustration and anxiety as I have experienced from other insurance brokers...Peter James are by a country mile the most professional, courteous insurance broker I have ever dealt with. In short I had issues with the underwriter when my e type was hit in an accident. To be honest I was struggling to get anywhere, I spoke to my broker Peter James who were most concerned with how the matter was being dealt with. Kath, got onto the matter in hand speaking to people much further up the chain of command than you or I would have got to, on my behalf. With in a matter of 24hrs, I was paid out in full, even the director herself took the time to make contact with myself. Can not remember enjoying some of these old school values where you speak to people who actually take the time and effort to work on your behalf, not take the money n run like most these days... Insure your classic with Peter James for peace of mind. I can not recommend this company enough... well done!!! (JEC member)
Very good indeed for classic cars. Haven't had to claim, the real acid test, the hurdle where most companies exhibit their dishonesty. In fairness, Peter James avoid the poor behaviour of many other insurance brokers. Emma has been consistently really helpful, she always returns calls, and she's very knowledgable regarding the type of cars they specialise in. She's a real asset to the company. They only fail to get five stars purely since they're not competitive with modern cars quotes, although they are honest about this, eschewing extravagant claims to the contrary and, moreover, plan to address this weakness with a multi-car policy which will be available soon.
Ive insured 4 bikes with PJ. and the service has just been brilliant. I intend to just insure one bike. But the price was so good. I insured 3 others. Proper old school customer service. Quick and easy thank you Peter james
