took nearly 2 hours for food to arrive. food was ok, but not worth the wait. was told they were really busy... yea great... dont lie when customers ring to see where their food is saying its on the way when its only just being cooked 90 minutes after receiving the order... i know this is the case cos the food was hot/freshly cooked when it arrived. 2 hours later. don't try getting new customers if this is the best service you can provide - they (we) wont order again.
Home delivery of 2 fish and 1 order of chips (16.60 total), fish was luke warm and chips were cold (like old chips from early day service).. Over priced and cold... Disappointing especially when we live just down the road from the shop..
Staff are very friendly and welcoming and is why is is getting 2 stars and not just 1 the food was awful. Chips under cooked and the fish looked the part but was not what i would class as edible. On top of that the sausages where not pork. I understand that some people dont eat pork but you could at least advertise the fact that you dont sell pork and the sausages are turkey
I have just eaten the best fish and chips, since I left the Midlands, 30 years ago!...they even do potato scallops . Delivery via Just Eat was very fast and driver friendly. Highly recommend the Crown Fish Bar
