Can't believe these bad reviews with the guy coming in at closing time and freaking out. I feel bad for owners of restaurants who have to deal with these cruel people.

First impressions: As soon as you enter the place you find yourself making a little trip to a piece of China, the music and the atmosphere is very peaceful. Then we have this young lady so friendly and nice, welcoming us and making us feel comfortable. The place was neat, clean and nice. The food: I found it excellent, the flavor and quality was neat. Everything I tried had a very authentic flavor. Nothing overcooked or raw, perfect texture and softness. I liked it, I'll come back for sure.

I see her run her self on such a high efficiency and deserves much more credit for her work ethic. thank you for the kind service, we will continue to support this local business because of the service and the wonderful cooks.
Tried this restaurant tonight, first time. Hands down, best Chinese food I've ever had! From that first bite . The servings are really big, we have leftovers for days. The General Tao chicken was amazing, they spice it according to what heat you like and the Soo Gai with gravy is crispy and delicious with plenty of gravy. Cantonese chow main was so flavorful too. I highly recommend Dragon Yan...its our new go to Chinese food restaurant
Update: Just finished another fantastic meal from Dragon Yan. The food seems to be getting better than before, and it was 5 star then. I really appreciate getting consistently great take out. Few restaurants can match the quality and consistency. Earlier Review: Was a regular customer at the George St. location (The food is amazing!) but now go to Dragon Yan because I really like the people and the food is still amazingly good! They have a small but nicely appointed dining room that I'm looking forward to dining in. They have applied for a liquor license. The staff is super friendly.
Saw all the reviews and was skeptical. Yes, it really is as good as everyone else is saying. Ordered for delivery. They were quick and the food containers were packed full of tasty dishes. Tried most of the traditional dishes, sweat sour chicken, lo mein noodles, egg rolls, egg fried rice, ... all were great! Tasty food that was reasonably priced, served fast and still hot when it arrived at our door. Definitely my go to place for Chinese in Peterborough!
Great service but they added gravy in the egg foo yan, thats why the 4 star lol
Believe the hype. Best Chinese food ever...highly recommended..delicious and ready when promised for pickup!
