️️ Cruise the world's highest liftlock!! At Peterborough Liftlock Cruise... Basically it's a huge boat. That goes up the river. Then there is a hydraulic lift that takes it up a level.. And great views to enjoy..

I took the Liftlock Cruise in 2000 with my Grade 5 class and loved it, remembering it as one of my favourite field trips. 20 years later and I enjoyed it as much, and it was just as I remembered. The sights, the novelty, the boat (the jokes, the stories...) were a great nostalgia trip for me. A wonderful super casual afternoon activity that you need to do when you visit Peterborough.

It was really great experience. Staff and captain were very friendly. They don't allowed you take any out side food on the cruise. 4 star because washrooms out side in the area was not good but inside cruise was good. Paid parking 1.25 per hour. Food is available just opposite side of the road Subway and pizza pizza. Really great experience .

I took the Liftlock Cruise recently on the spur of the moment and it was totally worth it! All of the Staff very helpful and friendly and most importantly COVID-Friendly :-) ... I'm a writer doing story research and I got more than what I was expecting during the 2 hour cruise. The Captain was very knowledgeable and I spent my summers in Peterborough for years and I still learned new things :-)... highly recommend !!!

Very enjoyable, informative 2 hour sightseeing cruise with Captain Grant. My phone messages were returned promptly. Would take a dinner cruise once they are started up again.
