I have been going to Vital Air for 7 years and since the very first time I have always felt that the customer service is subpar and the only reason I continued to give Vital Air my business was convenience. After my resent visit I have decided I would rather take my business else where. I went in to pick up filters for my Cpap and I was asking about the head straps that were on display with the new masks, the receptionist was very curt and condescending when she told my that the new head straps would not fit my mask. I asked how often the head strap needed to be replaced and she then made a comment that I had not replaced my head strap for over 3 years and I need to do it yearly. I paid for my filters, which I might add went from 6 for 6 filters to 20 but they cover the 5 parking fee for parking at the Alexander building. Every time I go into Vital Air I am spoken to like a child who could not comprehend what they are telling me. The very first time I went to get my mask and cpap machine I was told not to cover the holes on the mask with duct tape! I was also told not to be calling back in two days requesting to try a different mask when my understanding was that they would work with me until I was able to find the equipment that would best suit my needs. I should have walked out then and went some where else. On a final note I have ordered my head straps on line through cpapoutlet.ca and paid 35 and it was delivered to my door, if my memory servers correctly it was over 55 through Vital Air but they cover that 5 parking fee. I wish I could give Vital Air zero stars.
I wish to commend the Peterborough office of Vital Aire for the 5 star service I have and continue to receive,. The first person I dealt with was Adam who delivered and set up my equipment and did not leave until I was comfortable with it. Then there was Amber, the Clinical Consultant.Thank you both.
By far the worst place I've ever done business with. Go anywhere else!
