Art appreciation is a personal thing. I like this installation on a roundabout. Clearly a lot of thought went into the design as it picks up on the flora and fauna and industrial history of the area around Wouldham. I am not sure how many people get to appreciate the sculpture whilst they are dealing with a busy roundabout though!

The sign symbolises the historical industry that was here long ago and wildlife here now... . Quay sides with many barges taking away sand , gravel and lime for industry. Hidden but it’s there if you know where to look. Disused railways lines that are just a scare on the land via an Aerial view with Google maps . Railway embankment for a crossing a little further up river the other side of St Peters village . Disused quarries that are just giant holes in the ground. All had rail access now gone . Another has an Underground tunnel far to dangerous to explore . Lime kiln works with a pylon in its grounds. A rail bridge under the road leading to Bluebell hill. Of course the White chalk cliffs still very much on show , evidence of the quarries that once was.
Lovely spot for a walk. History boards along the way and Burham church nearby.
Its a brand new village still some parts under construction nothing to visit there though good place to live for local community and Very good opportunity for new buyers to buy new property there plenty of new build houses on sale nice views of river anx good access to motorways from there
It's a beautiful sign marking an entrance to a lovely new village.
