Lovely pub serving excellent home cooked quality food. The choice of dishes on the menu is very good and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend the Sunday roasts, especially the extremely tasty roast pork. The staff are really helpful, providing great customer service. Excellent choice of draught beers and ciders, all well kept and fresh tasting. Nothing more I can say except that you have to go there and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed!

Haven't visited for 10 years, nothing has changed, it's still a nice place to drink. If you get a chance visit yourself and experience a gentler kind of life. And now two years later it’s still just like pubs used to be. Visit and keep the beer flowing.

Not the prettiest building but it is in a nice village location and it had a nice, happy and jovial atmosphere while we were there. The bar staff were polite, welcoming and friendly. There were social distancing measures in place and the majority of the clientele were drinking outside. A good selection of beers on offer to choose from. There are benches both out front and in the back yard were there is parking for approximately 10 cars. Will likely visit again when in the area.

Sadly, the food was not at all good. Fish and chips... but fish was clearly cooked from frozen.
