Lovely walk even when it was muddy. Scenic. Lots of sheep. Opportunity to walk up & down the hill if prefer a more tougher walk. Otherwise mostly flat, paths for wheelchair users too. Dogs on lead in sheep areas. Car park is voluntary pay.

Beautiful location with stunning views all around. Exposed so can be very windy and path from the car park can be very muddy. Once on the old Fort it is dry underfoot. No picnics allowed on the Fort itself.
What an amazing experience..frost like we have never seen..almost magical and it felt that our walk was in another land!! Crisp, cold, fascinating, foggy and lots of fun. Only sadness is that the place is littered with dog pooh bags!! You want to walk your dog, be responsible and take the mess away with you please.
Lovely area of natural beauty. Gentle walk up the hill to see wonderful, far reaching views towards the coast. Voluntary donation for parking, otherwise free. Only downside - no toilets.
