Went here for the first time last week to meet up with some friends. A young man with glasses named Liam saw that I was a little lost trying to find my friends, and without even asking, he very kindly walked me to the section where they were. Delightful chap! Even managed to say goodbye to us all as we left. Will be coming here more often. Thanks Liam!

Very disappointed with the restaurant. The beef sausages were over cooked and dry and my partners veal schnitzel parma special was not crumbed correctly. More crumbed then meat. See pic of the crumbs.
Had the best experience with Anne and Liam. Became a member and it was super easy and friendly. I recommend this place till the cows come home. There was live music and everything. Thanks Anne and Liam!
Good club. Quiet and peaceful, can hear the Poker machines, New club under construction across the street,
Nice Club! Food was super delicious - compliments to the chef/s & the lady that took our order. Shayla was so helpful & friendly we signed up with her. The older man also standing at the front desk chose to ignore me instead of signing me in or explaining what I need to do as my mother & I were new & were there to have lunch for her b'day. The older man eventuated upstairs doing his rounds in a glow vest greeting & checking on people that they were ok.... but not to my mother & I, he ignored us as he walked right by our table. His nature, body language, persona, attitude & arrogance was appalling for someone in customer service & we did not feel welcomed as he paraded himself around the club like he was someone of importance. It's a shame to have a worker in customer service like that bringing the place down to negative effects. Thank God ALL the other staff were lovely, friendly, helpful & professional... had this not been the case I would have taken my mother elsewhere !!! I had sweet & sour pork yum-O & my mum had the house soup, we enjoyed it immensely... both dishes cooked superbly x.
I went to the RSL on Good Friday as one of my bff,s lives around the corner and up until covert I frequented the place as a member for over ten years, being heavily involved with the snooker club as a player and organiser. I was hopeful they had reopened the two snooker tables ,as other RSL clubs have, but due to the overly conservative attitude of the club management they were still closed! However they had a poker tournament (6per week) with over 40 players(9per table) sitting side by side. A snooker table is 12 foot long and 6 foot wide, most players have their own cues and social distances can easily be practiced. Addionally every person has to be covert temperature checked upon entry. I believe the club supporting gamblers as opposed to their only sporting club is a huge contradiction, and is motivated by the fact that when poker players lose, they go and play the electronic machines to recoup their losses. They are the clubs biggest source of income from all the profit and loss statements I have seen ,since I joined in 2006. As they are a small RSL they seem to stay under the radar, running the place on a skeleton staff and putting profit before people! The mood at the club was very non friendly except for most staff members. Besides cheap drinks if u r a member,or you are a gambler I would not recommend you wasting your time going there!
Fantastic cooperative staff, right from the reception at entrance. Great music. Nice social distancing set up. Great Bar. 100 metres from Petersham Railway station. I had fabulous Saturday Evening, along with my friend.
I used to go there but they banned for my group for playing board games. No explanation. Dreadful way to treat members.
