Took my wife here after she broke her wrist snowboarding. Pretty standard for the area and was a busy weekend at the ER. Was worried about the low rating and negative reviews. Everyone we encountered was efficient and pleasant. Registration was quick, X-rays were fast, they put her in a room after a short wait. Doctors and nurses explained everything thoroughly and they reset her wrist and wrapped her up. Won’t look forward to coming back here...it’s a emergency room.

Everyone is so rude.. I've been here a couple of times with my stomach problem yet I keep being told nothing is wrong. Some of the nurses and front desk people are rude and look at you like you don't know what you are talking about...it's happened alot when I come here just be nicer to people I know you guys are overworked but still it creates a more positive atmosphere

Understaffed or undersized ???not sure which went in with possible stroke symptoms right leg turning purple on top of that sat in waiting room close to 3 hrs ended up helping a senior citizen to the rest room that had fell in her home because no staff was available after that I left it was a very unpleasant experience to say the least

I got a piece of food stuck in my throat (during Covid of course) and we drive down from the UP because I do most of my medical in Petoskey. Arrived appx. 6:30 at night, everyone was great... had me in the room and prepped for procedure by 7:30 and fixed up ready to go by 9:30 and feeling much better. Thank You!

This is the absolute worst emergency room anyone could go to. Had my daughter up there with a fever of a 103 and she was pale white. Waited for over 2.5 hour without ever being seen. CHARLEVOIX AREA HOSPITAL IS WHERE TO GO!! PETOSKEY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO CHARLEVOIX!

The ER doctor told me my mother had a bladder infection and very large masses in her lower abdomen. She told me to hold on she would explain everything in detail, then disappeared for forty minutes while we were in distress. Then she came back and said oh I was looking for you then told us sorry wrong patient????. Then said she had Pneumonia which was also wrong.

I spent 3 hours drooling in pain because the nurses wouldn't even bring me tissues. Let alone come to check on me once, no matter how many times I called the desk. This happened on multiple occasions as well. They wouldn't even let my family back with me. I will NEVER be going back.
