My daughter found a cat in the middle of the road on day. Cold, wet and lethargic. Since I have some knowledge of Veterinarian Medicine she brought the cat straight to me. Since there were no wounds or obvious indicators as to why the cat laid there on purpose we tried to get her seen by our Vet. He was too busy. Since this was not something that could wait I Googled the Vets in a 20 mile radius of us and Petplex came up. They said to bring her in right away. They did prays and an exam and told us she was 13 years old and dying of renal failure. It was heartbreaking for my daughter. The Vet and staff were so kind. They gave us options but said she had probably crawled up onto the road to die, it was her time. They even gave us a discounted rate since she was a stray. My daughter and I were so impressed we both switched Vets for our fur babies. Amazing how tragedy can turn into a blessing.

The people here were really nice and I couldn't thank them enough for saving my kitty.

My last resort was to leave a review to help people in the future. Our Chinchilla went to PetPlex two times to get hit teeth trimmed. Each time they were done incorrectly. I was lead to believe by the staff that he was 100% healthy. Little did they know I’m a Vet Assistant and very close with a Vet Technician. I had made another appointment at a new clinic to save my Chilly. He had died from the trauma and incorrect treatment from this clinic. We were beyond nice to them just reaching out to explain they had done his teeth completely uneven!!! They explained that that’s how chinchilla teeth are and that he was sick. Number one Chinchilla teeth are supposed to be EVEN. Number two it was communicated to us he was 100% healthy good to go home and recover. They are now saying he had a disease. They are an extremely unprofessional clinic and I will never trust them with another fuzzy family member. I just want people to know that way the same thing doesn’t happen to them. I want to use Chilly’s story so no one has to go through the pain and stress I did. It’s a shame they couldn’t just own up to their actions an do better that’s all I wanted.

I'm sorry, but when someone comes to you when you're open and has a dog who is dying in the car, that's called emergency medicine. Critical care. If you are open there should be a doctor there. how dare you turn animals away and call yourself a hospital and put that on your list for treatments. I've always heard very good things about petplex, but the experience was not good.
