Beautiful place... But totally abandoned... due incompetent administration. Political issues...

I can't say that I liked it maybe because it was covered with decorations for the local Oktoberfest that they enjoy in june;)
Nothing special or interesting to be quite frank. If you're planning on doing a day trip to Petropolis from Rio like we did to see sites like this, I'd suggest giving it a skip.
I didn't understand why this was a stop on a tour. Simply put, it was an empty venue, and it needs some care. It was described as a tea house, built years ago, as a display of wealth. Below I've posted a photo of a tea house, that was built by a Vanderbilt, as a display of wealth, for entertaining guests. You see my confusion between the two ?
Interesting place. Besides the palace, during especific wrekends there is also a market where one may have the opportunity to buy local products.
Cool area to chill when in town, a concert stage is there inside
Great park and building used for markets and other events.
Nice place for a touristic visit. Clean and neat.
