I approached Kim at a very difficult period of my life - I was looking for somebody to help me talk through some very difficult things that have happened in my life. I thought I was walking into a therapy session, and essentially it was. But Kim offers much more than that. Her approach to therapy is so much more positive than I have ever experienced before, she had a wonderful way of taking things that are troubling you and making you think about them in a fresh and positive way. She engages on difficult emotions with an emphasis on exploring them but a focus on finding solutions. She’s never pushy or controlling, she provides the setting and the experience and allows you to guide the therapy at your own pace. I have broken through several barriers since talking with her, I have began engaging with the things I enjoy in life and I have found a confidence under all my insecurities that has guided me through the latter half of this year. Mental health isn’t always considered a priority and I have no idea why. People would spend a fortune on expensive things to make themselves feel better but I am pleased I have spent my money much more wisely, taking care of my mental health with Kim and making my day to day life a much more enjoyable experience because of it. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
