Basically waited an hour to be served though we pre booked. Waited a further 45 mins for both food and drink to arrive. We were then served our starter and mains at the same time. No acknowledgement or apology. Some considerable time later we were offered dessert menu, but they never came back to get our order , so we paid and left and will not return. Food was just ok.

Great food and amazing location....right next to the castle. We had Sunday Roast which was superb. Service was a little lagging but I think it was because it was the end of service. A great lunch place when you go to see Pevensy Castle.
