“Fish and Chips”: excellent chips, just like they should be. We rarely get fish but the battered sausage and pies are great. Curried chips also a favourite. “Chinese”: also very good, garlic and ginger, prawn toast, fried rice. Never had a bad order. “Cash only”: seriously?, major downer as don’t carry much cash these days. So much lost business. Would be 5* with contactless.

Our local Chinese, good food cooked quickly. Unfortunately they only accept cash but having 2 cash points near helps the situation. Set meals are good value, would be nice to be able to mix and match.
Very good fish and chips on the few occasions I've visited. Fresh oil without odour or flavour, good cod and good size portions. Far and away better than the chippy in Marlborough...which I've found to be pretty rotten.
Recommend food, stir fried broccoli in garlic sauce made fresh and cooked well full of flavour. Only negative the staff do need more understanding what a vegan is and maybe this needs to be put on the menu ( vegan, vegetarian, gluten free to understand all dietary needs).
