I am a faculty at LPU. I am going to share my experience of buying a steel Almirah from this store. The day I went to buy, the person Mr Chawla at the store was very nice and showed me a lot of almirah of different sizes. We selected a local manufactured one and paid some advance. Mr Chawla said it is their responsibility to deliver it safely. The next day when they sent the almirah, they did not sent any labor nor did they inform us about arranging one. However, we arranged labor somehow. The cart driver which came to deliver confidently said he can push the almirah inside himself. In the process he scratched and dented the front door. When I called Chawla, he insisted for the rest of payment but we refused to make the payment so he took the almirah back. The almirah was not of that quality due to bad paint and very low quality steel, so we decided to change it. Next day when we went to their store and ask for the replacement. This is where they started to show their true colors. The owner said that we have to buy that same almirah because we dented it without even listening to our argument. The cart driver put all the blame on us and owner believed in that as if we were telling a lie. So, We had to buy a expensive one because the owner was adamant on not listening and returning the advance if we don't buy the scrathed and dented almirah. It was such a horrible experience of customer support that we will never be going back there ever again.
