It’s crowded place but it’s a market place so that is expected. Has everything available there. A must visit place for anyone who plans to visit Bangkok. A special place for foodies. You get a lot of variety in sea food especially. You can taste Crocodile sticks, baby octopus, sushi, squid eggs, even fried insects and worms(if u have that kind of appetite). Shop for clothes, relax at a restaurant or have a beer if it’s too hot for you.

There are also good local Thai restaurants during the day under the toll way. Should try one of them if you happen to be there.

This place is a smaller night market filled with mostly mom and pop street food spots. They also sell accessories, clothes, fresh veggies and fruits too! This is a place where you find more Thai people than tourists. Food is good! My apartment is a 15 min walk away so it’s very convenient when I don’t feel like cooking. If you’re expecting to see something like Chatuchak (filled with 1000 different fashion vendors) then this isn’t a place for you. It’s a good place to eat and support local Thais restaurants and farms. If you’re near victory monument I would take a stroll just to check it out for a quick visit but that’s just me. \u200d️ This is coming from a Half Thai and Filipino American.

We were there Thursday night and was not inpressed. It's located under the highway and very loud and very hot. We didn't try any food because of the heat and just didn't look clean. I would not recommend this market. Thailand has some amazing markets this one was a big miss.
